Grief is a powerful emotion that can transform happy, loving people into shells of their former selves, so when Marion and Morris face every parent’s worst nightmare, their lives unravel at the seams. Marion remembers those carefree days and holds on to them with every ounce of strength she has; however, with every drink, with every accusation, and with every insult, she feels the life she once knew slipping away.
When at the brink of emotional exhaustion, a chance encounter at a park is all it takes to rekindle the hope that Marion thought she’d lost.
